It's always best to start at the beginning...

...then you quickly google "yellow brick road" for images and find Maquilas Que Matan's blog right away. Whatever we may find at the end of the road, it seems an auspicious start.

Painting of a semi-agricultural scene with a yellow brick road originating bottom center and leading into the distance through fields of green and brown with scattered deciduous trees.

Notes

  1. About the image: When I started Follow that QAR, Glinda's advice lilted into mind, prompting the web search that led to the image I featured on my first post. Its caption at the source, "Por el camino amarillo," was (and still is) linked to hello.com, a site that today claims to be reinventing but I will be surprised if it does. See Orkut. Twenty years on, I have not relocated the artwork anywhere. I know nothing more about it.
